Arabian International Company for Steel Structures (AIC) has recently been awarded the contract to supply structural steel works for the 31-storey Corniche Tower/Dream-1 project in Jeddah.

AIC is a sub-contractor to construction company, Kamal Al Zubair Establishment, and the client is Ahmed Saleh Kaki Sons Company.
Under the contract, AIC is to supply, fabricate and erect more than 5,200 tonnes of structural steel, by May 2005.
“AIC secured this contract in recognition for its expertise in the high-rise/commercial buildings construction segment,” says a company spokesman.
The company has been supplying structural steel to many landmark buildings in Saudi Arabia and the GCC, which include: Al Faisaliah Tower, Kingdom Centre, Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (Sabic) headquarters, and Saudi Agricultural Bank headquarters (all in Riyadh); the Borj Al Jewar Apartment, and the Al Dhiyafah Shopping Mall (both in Makkah); and the Ritz Carlton Hotel (West Bay, Qatar).
Projects currently under execution include the 39-storey headquarters for the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (Adia) in Abu Dhabi; and the 33-storey Diyar Al Bahr building in Jeddah, says the spokesman.
“With a reputation built on sound engineering principles, backed with latest technology, AIC endeavours to break new barriers in the design, supply, fabrication and erection of steel structures for commercial and high-rise buildings,” he adds.
