
Bahrain-based Mercury Contracting Centre says it has completed more than 4,500 projects over the past 18 years, waterproofing more than 3 million sq n.
Mercury uses the Bitumat modified membranes system, which is one of the major quality manufacturers of waterproofing in the world with ISO 9002 certification. It also utilises Isothane products manufactured by Isothane, UK. The company, with its associates in Saudi Arabia, has developed four new systems known as the Mercury Noval System which is said to combine the best quality in waterproofing and polyurethane heat insulation.
The company is currently involved in waterproofing works for the Almoayyed Tower, Alba Health Centre and Dr Tariq Hospital. Its completed projects include the National Bank of Bahrain headquarters, Gulf Air's headquarters, Ashrafs, BMMI's warehouse, the Albaskan housing for Alba, Gosi shopping complex, BDF Hospital and 800 Housing Ministry traditional houses in Hamad Town.
