DYNAPAC has launched new floor saw to replace its BX500 series of floor saws.
The new BX510 concrete and asphalt saw has a maximum blade size of 500 mm, and a cutting depth down to 185 mm. It is said to offer the following advantages:
Features that have made Dynapac floor saws popular are also included in the BX510, such as:
''Dynapac BX floor saws are mainly used in the building industry to cut trenches in concrete for laying pipes, electric and communication cables. The dimensions of the trenches thus obtained will be very accurate and more economically performed than reservations on blueprints and then on the site itself,'' says a spokesman for the company.
Another major field in which floor saws are commonly used is for making concrete expansion joints.
''Whenever repairs need to be made on specific parts of a damaged concrete slab, Dynapac BX floor saws can be used, to complement the Dynapac floor treatment range and in particular the BS50 grinding machine used to treat large concrete surfaces,'' he adds.
Dynapac is a product line of Metso Minerals, a global market leader in the supply and service processes for industries related to rock-size reduction, classification, metal scrap and waste recycling, minerals separation and recovery, materials handling, wear protection, and compaction and paving.
