A WIDE range of dust extraction systems are being offered to the GCC market by a Malta-based company.

Dustech Malta Limited is currently seeking agents in the Gulf region for its dust extraction systems and sanders.

The dust extraction systems are marketed under the brand name Rupes are designed to recover dust during traditional sanding activities for the woodworking, automotive, marine, metalworking and construction sectors. The range also includes sanding and polishing equipment for these sectors.

''The filtering efficiency of Rupes extraction systems is certified, says Dennis Vella, a company spokesman. "Dust content on exit is less than 0.01 grammes per cu m of air - much lower than the values defined by the regulations.''

The Rupes line of products includes a mobile service unit, which is the smallest wheeled extractor in the range.

This unit features a powerful, silent, removable filter and is fitted with a single motor and power socket on the head. While recovering processing dust, it is also able to extract liquids, Vella says.

Rupes extraction turbines, intended for centralised systems, have a compact, functional design. Silent and powerful, the extraction turbines return clean air to the environment with dust residues of less than 0.01 g per cu m of filtered air, he says.

The Rupes range of products has recentely been expanded with the latest generation Matic 2, an integrated multifunctional system with a hanging moving arm.

''The 6 m-long arm consists of two steel elements with joints and clutches. The double rotation - 180 degrees with the wall plate and 360 degrees between the two elements - allows the drop to be positioned with the service control unit over an area of 50 sq m for immediate access to the system's extraction electric and pneumatic functions. Matic 2 offers the possibility of operating simultaneously with two electric tools or with two pneumatic tools or with one electric and the other pneumatic.''

The range of sanders include the orbital, random and planetary sanders which are light and powerful and provide perfect power control for universal sanding applications such as for flattening and for large surfaces.
