Trans Gulf Electro Mechanical was the electrical, mechanical and plumbing (MEP) subcontractor on the Al Shoala Complex project. Its scope of work included supply, installation, testing and commissioning of HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning), plumbing, electrical, fire-fighting and BMS (building maintenance system) services designed and supervised by Khatib & Alami, consultant on the project.
Trans Gulf Electro Mechanical, established in 1972, is one of the largest and reputed electromechanical engineering services operating in Dubai. The company was started initially to deal with electrical services. Encouraged by the success of the electrical works it expanded its activities to mechanical services in 1989, resulting in a growth of almost 20 times of the original turnover.
Over this period, the company has completed around 360 mechanical and electrical projects that have contributed to the development of the UAE.
Various projects completed or being executed include some renowned towers, shopping complexes, hotels, palaces for royal families, various luxurious villas, extensions of Dubai and Sharjah international airports, Sheraton Plaza International Hotel and Towers and a residential and commercial complex for Al Dhahiri at Oud Metha.
