Fujairah-based Emirates Ceramic Factory is keenly eyeing prospects in the Dubai market, having already supplied its quality ceramic products for two 10-storey buildings in the emirate. The buildings were constructed by International Contracting.

Established in 1981 as a government of Fujairah-owned enterprise under the chairmanship of Shaikh Saleh bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the firm has been a trailblazing pioneer in the field of ceramics in the UAE for nearly two decades, says a spokesman for the company.

The company has an office in Dubai.

Besides the Dubai projects, Emirates Ceramic has been involved with a number of projects including 46-storey Fujairah Tower, 50 government villas in Al Qurriah, Fujairah, Fujairah Twin Towers, all in Fujairah; three 15-storey buildings and 200 villas for Ali Moosa & Sons; six 15-storey buildings for United Engineering; six 15-storey buildings for Omran M Taryam, all in Sharjah; and 150 villas for Intermass in Abu Dhabi.
