A beachfront development, involving the reclamation of 3 million sq m of land 1 to 2 km east of Muharraq island, is among the multi-million-dollar projects planned for Bahrain by GCC investors.

A newly-registered property company Ossis, which is spearheading the investors, will develop the project into a self-contained community, with full amenities and conveniences.

Details of the project, expected to cost up to $1 billion in the first phase, are expected to be revealed shortly.
