Aircon show set for April

Aircon Gulf 2001, an international exhibition for air-conditioning and refrigerating for the Gulf market, is set to be staged from April 17 to 19 in Bahrain. This event is drawing attention from the leading companies in the heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC & R) market from all over the globe, according to the organiser.

''Bahrain's Ministry of Commerce and Chamber of Commerce and Industry, TTMD-Turkish Society of HVAC, and Ashrae-Saudi Arabia Chapter and Chinese Association of Refrigeration are supporting this event,'' says Tom Jose, project manager for the Bahrain-based Almadina Exhibition Company, the organiser.

''Companies such as Tecumseh of the US, Boke of Germany, SKM, Sharjah, Carrier Middle East, Friederich Air Conditioning Company, US, Broad Air Conditioning Company of China, and New Widetech Industries Company, Taiwan, have already confirmed their participation in Aircon Gulf 2001,'' he says. ''In addition, several company from various countries including the GCC have also booked space.''

''Aircon Gulf 2001 will serve as a meeting place for international suppliers and decision-makers, investors and trade buyers from the Gulf states. Participating companies will definitely benefit from the exposure because the potential of the Gulf market - which is the fourth largest HVAC&R market in the world valued at $6 billion annually,'' says Jose. ''Aircon Gulf 2001 will also incorporate technical seminars and workshops in conjunction with the event. Air-conditioning, refrigeration, heating, ventilation, parts, material and services, and related products and services are the main scope of this event.''
