Vida Hotel and Services Apartments in Bahrain ... nearing completion

Reynaers Aluminium, a leading provider of sustainable architectural aluminium solutions, is set to add yet another landmark project to its portfolio with the installation of its aluminium systems at the Vida Hotel and Service Apartments at Marassi Al Bahrain, one of the largest private urban developments being built in Bahrain.

Marassi Al Bahrain, being developed by Eagle Hills Diyar, is part of Diyar Al Muharraq, a masterplanned integrated city taking shape off Muharraq island.

A unique waterfront boutique hotel and service apartments for Bahrain, Vida Hotel and Serviced Apartments consists of fully furnished flats featuring Juliet balconies and elegant interiors.

The design architect is Perkins+Will while Kuwait-headquartered multidisciplinary firm Pace is providing design and construction supervision services along with Parsons. The contractor on the project is Bahrain-based Cebarco and the aluminium fabricator is Al Mannai Aluminium and Glass.

“Installation of the aluminium systems at the prestigious Vida Hotel and Serviced Apartments is now in the final stages,” said Ali Khalaf, Managing Director of Bahrain-based Reynaers Middle East, the regional office of the Belgium-based aluminium systems provider.

“This is yet another significant addition to our portfolio of projects across the Middle East executed from our regional headquarters. It’s always a proud moment for us to be a part of Bahrain’s contemporary urban developments,” he added.

Khalaf said several of Reynaers’ innovative systems have been installed in this project such as Concept Patio (CP) 68 sliding doors and the highly elegant foldable doors of the Concept Folding 77 series.

“The CP 68 highly-insulated sliding system combines elegance with performance and security, and is characterised by its slim profiles, allowing the integration of large windows and doors offering maximum views. The system meets the highest quality standards, yet falls within the price range of the popular residential sector. This allows architects the freedom to access significantly higher temperature, wind, noise/acoustic and water sealing and insulation values,” he explained.

The Concept Folding 77 optimises space utilisation in rooms, drawing the external environment into homes. This innovative system also offers the opportunity to maximise on daylighting while featuring an aesthetical design.

Also installed at the Vida Hotel and Service Apartments are the hinged windows and door systems of the Concept System (CS) 77 series, which serve the windows and doors systems requirements of the building while the Concept Wall 50 caters to the elegant façade requirements, he added.

CW 50 is Reynaers’ most popular curtain-wall series known for its superior performances and pleasing features while the CS 77 window and door series is a high insulating system that meets elevated requirements regarding thermal insulation, stability and security, being particularly suitable for the waterfront environment of the building, Khalaf pointed out.
