DMCC, one of the world’s leading free zones and government of Dubai authority on commodities trade and enterprise, has announced that its mixed-use development, Uptown Tower has reached 153 m, with over 32 floors completed.
Uptown Tower, is being developed within Phase One of Uptown Dubai district. On completion, it will stand at 340 m, and feature 188 luxury hotel rooms and suites, exclusive restaurants, extensive conference facilities, Grade A offices, and 229 uniquely designed branded residences.
Guided by a smart and sustainable construction strategy, Uptown Tower will be a Leed (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certified building, and home to a state-of-the-art DMCC Business Hub.
The hotel and branded residences fit-out packages have recently been awarded to Interiors International Industries.
According to DMCC, significant progress has been made throughout 2020, with the office zone structure of the tower having been completed.
In the next stage of construction, work is transitioning to the completion of the hotel zone structure. Façade work has commenced through to level 14, and fit-out works as well as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works are ongoing across 29 floors, it stated.
