Light Technologies Company (Lightech), a dynamic lighting company in Saudi Arabia, is building on its strengths by focusing on innovation and technologies to help designers create the desired setting for living spaces.

The Riyadh-based company, which was set up in 2005, has registered a year-on-year growth in business, thanks to its expertise in lighting projects and multi-discipline background in architecture, interior and landscape design.

Lightech designs and supplies efficient lighting solutions, controls and automation, architectural ceilings and other innovative solutions that enhance comfort, security and aesthetics in a living environment.

“We can provide simple and seamless solutions to meet and exceed even the toughest of project requirements,” says Khaled Chawki, managing director.

Lightech considers it important to work with consultants and clients from the initial design stages of any project. “We like to be involved at the early stages as we can tailor solutions to suit budgets and specific briefs. Iconic projects, for example, can be complex and we are in a position to offer advice and suggest alternative solutions,” Chawki says, adding that for every project, the company endeavours to offer the best solution, taking into account all stakeholders.

He believes one of the company’s main strengths is the variety of products always on offer to clients, particularly since its partnership in 2008 with the Debbas Group, which has been involved in the lighting business for over 100 years and has successfully delivered some 2,000 projects worldwide.

Chawki, who has been working with Lightech for five years, says: “The company’s business is doing well with each year improving. However, what is most important to us is a solid pipeline of business.

Lightech provides lighting integrated solutions working with a number of international partners who can be called upon to provide solutions tailored to client’s requirements.

The company’s project list touches everything from hotels and resorts to car showrooms, shopping malls, educational facilities and banks. It has been involved in the design and supply of internal and external lighting to mega projects in the kingdom.

In all its various projects, Lightech focuses on providing high-quality, innovative and high-tech lighting fixtures – including special or custom made – suited for the specific projects, ranging from decorative to technical, interior and exterior applications.

Some of the landmark projects it has been involved with include Princess Nora University, King Abdullah Financial District (parcels 3.04 and 3.05), King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Centre (Kapsarc), Mall of Arabia, Galleria Mall, Riyadh International Exhibition Centre in Riyadh; Half Moon Bay Resort, Kettaneh headquarters and the InterContinental Hotel in Al Khobar; the Aramco North Park IT Future Centre in Dhahran, and Riyad Bank branches all over the kingdom.

Looking ahead, Chawki says the company is planning to complement its core business with additional activities. But for now, Lightech will continue to provide integrated lighting solutions based on its unrivalled expertise and experience.
