The Askew Lithocast freestanding bath ... comfortable bathing experience.

IN LINE with demands in the region for functional and trendy bathrooms, Kohler Company has unveiled a sophisticated line of freestanding Lithocast baths, combining high design and the beauty of real stone to offer a warm and comfortable bathing experience.

The Lithocast baths with durable Lithocast solid surface material and integral slotted overflows comes in three models – the Abrazo, Aliento, and Askew Lithocast – that are said to combine comfort and style to offer a truly deep soaking experience.

“Recent real estate trends in the market have changed the way people think about their home designs, and bathrooms specifically, which have become a sanctuary from the pressures of modern life,” says Mohamed Nada, regional marketing manager at Kohler, a global leader in kitchen and bath design. “The need for a spacious, functional and trendy bathrooms among our Middle East customers has prompted Kohler to continue personalising the bathing experience for homeowners.

“In the past, people didn’t pay a lot of attention to bathroom designs and baths were typically positioned as fixed units in the room. This has evolved and people are now looking for more creative bathroom elements to make their bathrooms more personalised and enjoyable,” he adds.

The exclusive Kohler Lithocast solid surface material has a matte finish that looks like stone, but feels warm to the touch, comfortable on the bather’s body and is easy to clean and maintain.

The Abrazo bath design inspired by clay pottery measures 167.6 cm by 80 cm by 71 cm and features a unique oval shape that is organic and eye-catching. “The Aliento bath is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate two bathers facing each other with lumbar support on both ends. Measuring 167.6 cm by 91.4 cm by 63.5 cm, the bath displays whimsical illusion, while the strong, yet subtle details create a sophisticated aesthetic,” he explains.

Askew is a comfortable bath featuring a geometric design that has the exterior appearance of three slightly offset and stacked rectangles, creating a unique contemporary look. The bath measures 182.9 cm by 87.6 cm by 62.2 cm with lumbar support on both ends.

On all three models, the bath has a sculpted lumbar support and the drain is hidden by an integral cover cast from the same Lithocast material to create a smooth, uninterrupted look and a clean aesthetic.

The Lithocast baths are now available across the Middle East through Kohler’s regional distributor network.
