THE Atlantic Group, a leading multi-energy French solutions provider in Europe, has launched a new range of domestic water heaters that are particularly well-suited to the Gulf region and to the aggressive nature of local water.
The products were promoted alongside its latest innovations at The Big 5 show in Dubai last month.
Incorporating contemporary design and made of high-quality materials that ensure extended product longevity, these heaters employ two techniques:
• Zirconium-based tank enamelling. Zirconium, the root of artificial diamonds, can provide remarkable resistance to highly aggressive water; and
• The O’Pro Technology, patented by the Atlantic Group. The water-heaters feature ohmic resistance elements that reduce corrosion inside the tank and extend the lifetime of the magnesium anode rods.
In order to promote the use of renewable energy throughout the region, the Atlantic Group is also launching a range of solar water-heaters, that are suited for areas with extensive sunshine, and are easy to set up and maintain.
Also in the field of renewable energy, the company has introduced the Odyssee 2 heat pump water-heater. This breakthrough innovation in the field of renewable energy can help save up to 70 per cent electricity, thanks to its high-efficiency heat pump, according to a spokesman for the company.
Odyssee 2 features the ACI, an integral anti-corrosion system patented by Atlantic.
Founded in 1968, the Atlantic Group produces more than two million electric water-heaters yearly in its 15 industrial plants across the world. It has developed substantial knowhow in multi-energy solutions for the domestic, commercial and industrial markets. These products are distributed internationally under the Atlantic, Thermor and Pacific brands.
All Atlantic Group products comply fully with European and French quality brand standards. The group claims it was the first water-heater manufacturer to be granted Emirates Authority for Standardisation and Metrology (Esma) approval in the UAE, and its products also meet all of the requirements of regional standards such as Saudi Arabian Standards Organisation (Saso) and Kuwait Conformity Assurance Scheme (Kucas), among others.
