ARAB Centre for Engineering Studies (ACES) continues to offer quality construction services to the region with its diverse portfolio of services that range from site investigation and geotechnical services to environmental studies and testing.

Equipped with more than 150 drilling rigs – one of the largest geotechnical drilling fleets in the region – the company has been involved in various projects in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region. The Jordan-based company, with a network of 14 offices operating in the Mena region, is a specialised engineering company in site and geotechnical investigation, materials technology and testing, quality control of projects, special and environmental studies and testing, and land and marine surveying.

The range of geotechnical services it offers include onshore and offshore drilling and sampling, field and laboratory testing, geotechnical studies for dams, roads and buildings, geological surveys, geophysical studies, prospecting studies for mining and construction materials, and research programmes and training courses.

ACES also offers specialised materials technology and testing services, which extend to routine testing of construction materials, building components, water, chemicals, bitumen and asphalt mixes, aggregate and stone, steel reinforcement and other engineering materials. All tests are performed according to international standards including British (BS), American (ASTM), German (DIN) and ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.

The company is well equipped with an array of laboratory equipment to set up site laboratories to provide quality control services, on-site materials testing, preparation of quality control reports, calibration of laboratory testing equipment and of asphalt and concrete batch plants.

ACES can conduct special studies to solve construction problems on various projects, with the help of its highly-qualified specialists in highways, pavement, structural, chemical, materials and geotechnical engineering and utilising state-of-the-art equipment for destructive and non-destructive testing.

Other services offered by the firm include professional environmental sampling and testing services that meets the most stringent environmental standards, covering integrated and comprehensive environmental impact assessment and studies.
With its complete in-house facilities and state-of-the-art equipment, specialised software and highly-qualified survey engineers and surveyors, ACES also offers a wide range of land and marine surveying services.
