DORNBRACHT’S latest fitting for the bathroom is characterised by its flat shape and spread out surface, inspired by the natural flow of water.
Deque, with its minimalist design, is distinguished by a strict formal expression that is reduced to the flat, wide spout. The flat fitting lies very close to the basin, thereby drawing attention to the essential purpose behind it, namely the form in which water is presented, says the German bathrooms and kitchens fittings specialist.
“Deque represents a continuation of the range of shapes offered by the Dornbracht brand in an avant-garde design,” says Andreas Dornbracht, company managing director. “What is special about the jet type that we selected for this fitting is that we work with single jets that present a special, gentle stroking sensation when washing your hands.”
What stands out with Deque is the contrast between the gentle flow of water and the strict shape of the fitting on the one hand, and between the consciously flat, wide spout and the cylindrical control elements, creating a break in the shapes, which is particularly noticeable with the single-lever mixer.
The Deque range includes fittings for the washstand, bidet, shower and bathtub.
The range has been supplemented with Symetrics accessories and will be available from autumn this year in chrome and matt black finishes. The design originates from Sieger Design, while the Deque bathroom architecture was created by Mike Meiré.
