
Work on Al Massarat Water Supply System in Oman is due to commence in two months. Egyptian contracting firm Societe Egyptienne D'Enterprises is to develop the water supply scheme at a cost of RO26.56 million ($69 million).
Work will be carried out in two phases. The first phase will involve a total on 215 km of pipelines, four main pumping stations, 11 ground reservoirs and 13 elevated water towers and 17 tanker points. In the second phase, the internal networks will be constructed for distributing drinking water the wilayats of Ibri, Yanqul and Dhank.
