PanAsh Timber and Flooring Company, a relatively new player in the region, is gearing up to floor the market with its aesthetic natural wooden flooring products that have been designed to cater to the tastes of home-owners, designers and architects in the Middle East.
“We have introduced our 10 design collections in the market since February and these lines have already become quite popular here,” says Sabine Diercks, general manager of the company.
“These designs have been named after popular German cities, such as Heidelberg, Cologne, Bremen, Hamburg and Munich. We also have collections named after famous rivers in Germany including the Danube ship-deck collection, Moselle wide-plank collection and the Rhine-Fineline, besides solid wood collections bearing descriptions such as Black Forest and Alpine wideplank.”
“We focus very much on the maritime theme in our designs, especially as we come from Hamburg, which is a famous port city in Germany,” she says. “Danube is one of these popular shipdeck designs which we introduced to the region during the Woodshow earlier this year. This line is very much in demand in hotels, luxury buildings and villas.”
The company imports this flooring material to meet the needs of the Middle East market, she says, adding that its warehouse facility in Ajman stocks about 14,000 sq m of the various flooring collections to meet demand.
Founded last December as a joint venture of the UAE-based Mohiudeen Wood and PanTim Holzagentur of Germany, PanAsh Timber and Flooring Company was set up specifically to cater to the growing market for natural wooden flooring in the Middle East.
It markets its products under the HanseStar Hardwood Flooring brand name which comprises collections put together especially with the Middle East market and consumer in mind.
PanAsh is supported by a highly professional team that is well versed in the field and is also backed by a global supply chain.
Mohiudeen Wood, which is located in Ajman and Sharjah, is a subsidiary of the Ba Thumbay Group. It was the first saw mill in the Gulf to import logs and supply timber cut by the firm. Procuring its timber from the overseas market, the company supplies high-quality sawn timber in various standard and special sizes as per customer requirements.
PanTim Holzagentur, which is located in Hamburg, Germany, is a provider of a wide range of wood products including floorings, plywood, lumber and veneer, which are supplied through a reliable manufacturing chain supported by excellent customer service.
PanTim brings to the market the international experience of one of Europe’s leading wood product suppliers with affiliated companies in Germany, the US, Luxembourg, Portugal, China and Indonesia. This closely-integrated international network allows it to efficiently bring raw materials and world-class manufacturing capabilities together to create products for customers around the globe.
PanAsh Timber and Flooring Company is looking to benefit from the alliance of the two partners through its entire existing international network to supply high quality floorings within the Middle East.
