Mekar, an Italian manufacture of air handling units (AHU) and fan coil units (FCU) used the Big 5 show to announce the opening of its Middle East regional office and warehousing facility in the UAE.

The brand has already been installed in iconic projects in Dubai including Burj Dubai, Burj Al Arab and Dubai Mall amongst several others.
Giuseppe Boaro, president of Mekar, Italy, while making this announcement at the Big 5 said: “This move is essential due to the growing demand for Mekar airside equipment and its increasing popularity for iconic projects. We are setting up our own central warehousing and distribution facility in the UAE to meet our clients’ growing requirements and at the same time provide efficient support to our distributors in the region Royal Gulf. Mekar has plans to increase its market penetration in Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait through this office.”
Reiterating the business philosophy of Mekar, he stated: “We stand by quality and deliver what we promise.
