More than 2,000 exhibitors are set to take part in EMO Hannover 2007, the largest and most influential international trade fair for metalworking industries.

The event will be held from September 17 to 22 in Hanover, Germany.
“All leading manufacturing nations and top international suppliers of production technology will be represented,” says a spokesman for the German Machine Tool Builders’ Association (VDW). “To date as many as 2,005 exhibitors from 36 countries will be represented over 176,000 sq m of space.”
EMO Hannover covers the entire scope of metalworking products and services: metal-cutting and forming machine tools as core equipment for manufacturing processes, precision tools, surface treatment technology, software and control technology for the entire production process, automation systems and components, measuring, testing and quality management systems, machinery and systems for tool and mold making.
Some 2,000 companies from 41 countries took part in the 2005 event, with the majority (59 per cent) coming from outside Germany. Of the 160,000 attendees at EMO Hannover 2005, about 35 per cent came from abroad.
The exhibition is organised on behalf of the European Committee for Cooperation of the Machine Tool Industries (CECIMO) by the VDW in cooperation with Deutsche Messe, Hannover.
