Hempel announces that the retailers conference it held last month was a great success, with more than 80 retailers from the region discussing threadbare the business plans that will be put in place to reinforce the company’s image as a leader in the paints and coatings sector.
The event, held at the Bahrain International Racing Circuit also witnessed Hempel stressing the need to unite all of its retailers in the region to move forward and grow together under its “One Hempel Everywhere” corporate strategy. Further, it assured the retailers all the sales and marketing support they need to achieve the common goal in the retail business.
It also saw Hempel announcing its recent tie-up with UK’s LG Harris to market the company’s range of brushware in the region.
Quite recently, the company has also introduced a range of decorative finishes that have been specially formulated with the region in mind.
With the new range of paints, the paint manufacturer intends to make a dramatic comeback with a rainbow of colours and textures that are designed to give flight to the imagination of architects, specifiers and home-owners alike, says a company spokesman.
“Although Hempel is widely known in the region as a primary supplier of high-quality marine paints and protective coatings, it has invested heavily in research and development for decorative paints to cater to the burgeoning housing and building market segments in the region. Today, Hempel has what it takes to create beautiful interiors and exteriors,” says Juan Guijarrubia, who took charge as the general manager of Hempel Middle East (West) last September.
Various brands of decorative paints have been introduced recently including the Casa stone effects and Fusions interior finishes. Other well-known Hempel brands for the decorative market are Topaz, Dana, Platine and the Maestro, which are high-quality premium paints formulated for various surfaces and applications.
“Hempel’s Fusions range of products are designed to translate the home-owner’s dreams into reality, through easily and reliably created paint effects.
Among the Fusion range of “faux” or special effects are Aquamarble, Sand Plaster and Fine Plaster, which are compatible with each other and have been formulated to allow extended working time, achieving a uniform texture when large areas are being textured.
The conference was followed by ‘hummer rides’ at the Arabian Desert Adventure of the BIC and a dinner at the Diplomat Radisson SAS.
