Mirage Mille is providing the development project management, quantity surveying and cost control services for the Madinat Jumeirah project.
It was established in 1995 in Dubai by Dene Murphy who has had extensive development experience internationally whilst in the employ of the Sun International group of South Africa.
“We only take on projects that are within our capacity,” says Haysom. “And we ensure success because we have dedicated teams for projects. Our approach is to offer a complete project, including feasibility studies, preparation of area schedules, cost plans and control services. This enables us to brief the design team within very detailed and specific scope targets and objectives, as well as keeping tight control over budgets.’’
Mirage Mille offers a host of professional services – both technical and non-technical.
“We know from our experience what it would cost to do a hotel room and work out the costs and budgets before giving a brief for the design. We also serve as the operational development department if required,” he adds.
With projects such as the Royal Mirage (phase one and two) and the Madinat Jumeirah, Mirage Mille seems to have launched a revival of the Arabian culture and heritage in Dubai – imparting a distinctive, authentic regional style and a striking contrast to the glass-clad towers that are mushrooming in the emirate.
