Bonyan Emirates, a subsidiary of Ismail Akil Abbasi Group, said it planned to make substantial investments in several mega realty projects on Dubai's Shaikh Zayed Road.
The company's project line-up in the area include two residential apartment projects in the Dubai Marina community promoted by Emaar Properties , a fully furnished serviced apartment development in the precincts of the Dubai Technology, Electronic Commerce and Media Free Zone (Tecom) and another luxurious residential project in The Chinatown development promoted by Nakheel.
Construction on the company's first residential apartment project - Azure@Dubai Marina - has already commenced, while construction on the other three projects is expected to commence by the end of 2003 and early 2004, a senior official of the company said.
The six-storey Azure@Dubai Marina complex will comprise one, two and three-bedroom condominium units and four-bedroom luxury duplex suites.
The company has positioned the project as a landmark development, which would distinguish itself as being a high-quality, high-rise building.
Quality materials have been used and top architectural consultants, designers and contractors - such as UK-based architectural firm RMJM and Dubai Civil Engineering (DCE) - have been roped in to execute the project.
Prices for apartments in Azure@Dubai Marina range between Dh395,000 ($107,556) for a one-bedroom apartment on the first floor, and Dh1,450,000 for a four-bedroom duplex apartment with a terrace facing the Marina.
Azure@Dubai Marina will be located next to a huge park and will face the marina's promenade, which will feature a busy shopping boulevard.
