Madinat Jumeirah... combines past with the future

Madinat Jumeirah is a unique resort that combines the past with the future and presents  the charms of ancient Dubai in a unique relaxed ambience.

The resort, located in Jumeirah, faces the azure Arabian Gulf, against the backdrop of the Burj Al Arab, the world's tallest hotel and one of Dubai's icons.

The project consists of two major five-star hotels - Mina A'Salam and Al Qasr - as well as compounds of luxurious villas.

Behind its antique-designed walls though,  the resort's interiors have been equipped with the most modern of hotel conveniences.

Sara Trading Establishment, one of the leading trading companies in the Gulf, was awarded the contract to supply sanitary ware, bathtubs and mixers.
Sara Trading is a Dubai-based company with a high-quality portfolio that includes well-known brands in sanitary ware, mixers and tiles such as Villeroy & Boch, Grohe, Gardinnea, FIR and others.

Established in  1967 the company now has operations in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Lebanon and Syria and has successfully become a leader in the market and one of the best suppliers of European bathrooms, tiles and accessories.

Commenting on the work involved, Sara Trading's projects manager Raed Arafat says: 'The prestigious project demanded  our total dedication, professionalism and commitment. The materials were selected from well-known and famous brands taking into consideration the specific needs of the project. The sanitary ware was selected from Villeroy & Boch and included back-to-wall water closets (WCs), which hide all external connections, present a smooth uninterrupted wall surface and prevent the accumulation of dirt and water.

''High-end mixers from FIR were supplied, with some custom-made items to match the internal ambience. The bathtubs and Jacuzzis were selected from Kaldewei, a famous German manufacturer of bathtubs. Eng Khawla Hassan, one of our senior staff, was assigned to this project and she succeeded in achieving the desired results.''

He continues: ''Madinat Jumeirah has added great value to Sara's portfolio, and the experience gained from dealing with the Royal Court's management and the consultant, Mirage Mille, was invaluable.''

''The company, supported by a  pro-active upper management, will continue to offer the latest solutions to meet the market needs, and provide all facilities for its sales team to approach all challenging upcoming projects.'

The project, adds Sara Trading, is continuing testimony to the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who has succeeded in making Dubai the business hub of the Middle East and a modern environment that stimulates the development of such types of stunning architecture.
