Riyadh signs contracts

Riyadh region Amir Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz has signed six contracts for water and drainage projects at a total cost of SR326.35 million ($87 million).

Department director-general Khalid bin Abdullah Al Bawardi said the projects called for the extension of the sanitary drainage network to eight districts in the western and northern parts of the Saudi capital. The work also involves the drilling of wells. Four more contracts worth SR250 million would be signed soon.
