Geberit builds on pipes' reputation

Terrain ... complete drainage solution.

Terrain's origin's date back to 1902 when Albert E Reed established a business in Kent. In 1966 Terrain pioneered the development of plastic drainage systems for the UK construction industry.

In 1999, Terrain changed hands, leaving Caradon to become a member of the Switzerland-based Geberit Group.

As a member of this leading European sanitary and plumbing supplier company, Terrain became Geberit Limited, a customer-focused business producing in excess of 2,000 km of gutter and 1,500 km of underground pipes.

To support its business in the Gulf region, Geberit opened its Gulf regional office based in Dubai in the summer of 2000. The office promotes both Terrain and Geberit branded products and offers full technical support on site.

Quality and standards

Research and development (R&D) and quality control are just two areas receiving regular investment to ensure innovative and quality products are manufactured and available to the customer.

All Terrain systems are produced to BS EN 9002 and comply with the appropriate BS/EN standard and, where applicable, bear the Kitemark.

Products

Terrain products offer a total drainage solution with a complete range for rainwater gutters and roof outlets, soil, waste and traps for plumbing and below-ground drainage products for both commercial and domestic applications.

Three ranges are available produced in uPVC. These include an above-ground drainage system (solvent-welded or push-fit), underground drainage system and rainwater systems incorporating five different profiles of gutter for a variety of applications and a full range of roof and balcony outlets.

Terrain soil, waste, traps and overflow systems represent the benchmark in the plastic plumbing market for quality, product innovation and system development and are produced to the BS4514, BS5255, BS3943, and BS6209.

Terrain continues to be the professional's choice when commercial,

industrial, housing and public developments are undertaken by the discerning specifier or installer.

In addition, a range of roof and balcony outlets is available for use with 68 mm, 82 mm, and 110 mm pipes.

Special design/technical support

When standard fittings do not meet the demanding design requirements of an installation, the Terrain fabrication department can provide the solution to the most unusual specification.

All systems are backed with a comprehensive advice and design service. Site visits are regularly made to ensure the installation runs smoothly. To aid the specifier and designer, all products are available on CD-ROM.
