Masaar will comprise a total of 3,000 villas and townhouses.

Leading UAE developer Arada has completed work on all the 430 homes within Phase One of Masaar, the forested megaproject located in the Suyoh district of Sharjah, and begun the handover process.

Scheduled to be fully ready by end of 2026, Masaar boasts a total of 3,000 villas and townhouses over a 19-million-sq-ft masterplan, all set in six gated districts linked by its signature feature, a lushly landscaped and walkable ‘green spine’ containing 50,000 trees, said the Sharjah developer.

The first phase homes in the Sendian district of Masaar comprise two-bedroom townhouses to five-bedroom Sendian Park Villas, all of which are equipped with smart home features and located near the leisure and entertainment zone in the heart of Masaar.

The main contractors for the first phase were Intermass and Kharafi, while Dewan Architects acted as design and supervision consultant.

According to Arada, work on the 986 homes in the second and third phases of Masaar will be completed by the year-end. The contracts to build the remaining three phases of Masaar will be awarded in Q4.

Meanwhile, in Dubai, Arada has launched sales at its Armani Beach Residences at Palm Jumeirah – in partnership with Armani/Casa Interior Design Studio and Japanese architect Tadao Ando.

Armani Beach Residences at Palm Jumeirah is set for completion by the end of 2026.
