Lord Norman and Lady Foster with Feyiz Genc.

The progress made by the Kuwait International Airport T2 project has been hailed by Lord Norman Robert Foster, Baron Foster of Thames Bank, and Lady Foster, representing the acclaimed architecture firm Foster + Partners.

The team recently visited the project site, where  construction work is being carried out by Limak İnşaat.

During the visit, the Fosters witnessed first-hand the transformation of Foster + Partner’s cutting-edge architectural design into a physical reality by Limak. The project marks a significant milestone in global airport design and is one of Foster + Partners’ three major projects in Kuwait.

Limak CEO and Board Member Feyiz Genc said: “We are honoured to have Lord Norman Foster and Lady Foster visit our site. Lord Foster shared his enthusiasm about seeing the conceptual designs come to life, expressing gratitude for the dedication and teamwork that have been crucial in this process. This visit highlights the seamless synergy between Limak’s construction expertise and Foster + Partners’ innovative architectural approach.”

Limak is currently managing the construction of the Kuwait International Airport Terminal 2 (T2) project’s Package One, which involves a new state-of-the-art airport terminal building, and Package Two, which comprises the car park, service buildings, and roads leading to T2.
