Diyar Al Muharraq, the largest real estate development company in Bahrain, has completed more than 90 per cent of the main and secondary infrastructure works on the Southern Island.

Announcing the steady work progress, Diyar Al Muharraq said the infrastructure works on the project have been completed to high international standards.

Recent upgrades include the construction and lighting of road networks over 11 km of main roads and 75 km of secondary roads, in addition to eight 66 kV primary substations and more than 150 11 kV electricity distribution plants. Works on the primary and secondary sewage network include the pumping station, water tanks and distribution systems, rainwater and irrigation systems and a pumping station for irrigation water.

Meanwhile, the Bahraini developer unveiled new model designs for its Aseel El Nasayem and Layl El Nasayem villas coming up within its residential development Al Naseem.

Aseel El Nasayem 2 villas and Layl El Nasayem 2 villas span an area of more than 320 sq m each and involve a built-up area of more than 340 sq m. According to the developer, work has already started on these luxury villas, which will be built to high international standards.  

Al Naseem comprises two key neighbourhoods: a gated cand a non-gated community. Emerging as Diyar Al Muharraq’s gated residential community, the first neighbourhood encompasses more than 300 canal-facing villas, 500 residential apartments in individually designed buildings and premium community and leisure facilities.

The second neighbourhood accommodates 500 apartments in exquisitely designed buildings. It adjoins 10,000 sq m of retail, leisure and entertainment facilities with an integrated pedestrian-friendly promenade with breathtaking views alongside a 100-berth marina.
