ROLLC Company for Trading is strengthening its presence in the Eastern Province by boosting its sales and installation teams in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

“We are expanding the capabilities of our branch office in Dammam to provide full sales and installation support for all our products,” says Ahmed Al Buraidi, general manager at the Riyadh-based company.

“We produce as many as 80 shutter doors per day,” Buraidi indicates, adding that the company’s products are not only marketed within Saudi Arabia but are also exported to all the GCC states as well as Egypt and Jordan, through a network of branches
and distributors.

“Last year we witnessed a 20 per cent increase in exports,” he states.

Buraidi says the company’s competitive advantage lies in the fact that its doors are locally manufactured – right from design and manufacture to powder coating as per customer requirements and installation.

“This means we can make delivery on orders within eight weeks, whereas our rivals generally deliver in 10 weeks,” Buraidi asserts.

The shutter doors are made of plain or perforated galvanised steel or aluminium slats, ranging from 0.8 mm to 1.2 mm in thickness and are fitted with drive systems such as those from ACM of Italy for the centrally operated units and GFA Elektromaten for side motors.

Rollc fire doors have a two-hour (1-mm-thick slats) or three-hour (1.2-mm thick) fire rating and are offered in a choice of powder-coated colours.

Also part of the group is Rollc Factory for Metal Industries, which is a specialist in commercial steel gates offered in a wide selection of styles and finishes from the classic to the contemporary.
