SILENT Gliss has raised the curtains on an extensive range of window treatments that it says will challenge and surpass the paradigms of what can be achieved in this field.
A leading global supplier of motorised and manual curtain and blind systems, Silent Gliss offers products that are the best in terms of quality, design, technology, service and individuality, says Fredy Reber, export manager of the UK-based company.
The company’s product range covers all internal window treatments including roller, Venetian and Roman blinds as well as curtain tracks. Its most recent innovation is Flex, which is claimed to be the first panel system that can be bent for curved applications. “No longer does the track and panels need to hang in a regimented straight line; now it is possible to bend the system around corners to allow the fabric to stack away from the window, or to simply use it to divide the room,” says Samantha Shervill, marketing manager.“This is yet another example where Silent Gliss will challenge and overcome the paradigms of what can be achieved within the window treatment market.”
Other recent introductions include the contemporary curtain heading systems Wave and Wave XL. Wave offers a modern alternative to the traditional styles of curtains, where the fabric hangs in soft, simple and even waves across the length of the track.
Building on the global success of Wave, Wave XL takes this look to a new level.

“For large expanses of floor-to-ceiling glass, particularly in public areas, these large undulating curves of fabric make a stunning design statement,” she says. “It is rare to find such a stylish product that offers practical benefits such as using less fabric and easy cleaning and ironing as Wave and Wave XL do.”
Another remarkable introduction, challenging the style misconception about vertical blinds, was the introduction of Vertical Wave. Laser-cut design louvres hang to create the ‘wow’ effect, creating three-dimensional visuals with three different stunning designs. By changing the colours of the louvres or by simply introducing different lighting, the mood and ambience of the room can change to create striking effects, Shervill explains.
