Pact ... officials from Mapei and Mohammed Al Qama Building Materials Trading.

MAPEI, a leading manufacturer of chemical products for buildings, has boosted its presence in the UAE by appointing two resellers for its products.

The company has named Dubai-based Mohammed Al Qama Building Materials Trading as well as Sharjah-based Logistics Company Limited its authorised resellers across the country.
Mohammed Al Qama Building Materials Trading has four retail showrooms, all with stores attached to them, while the company also has a central warehouse in Al Quoz industrial area.
Logistics Company has a showroom dedicated to specialist building materials located in the Sharjah Industrial Areas 2 and 8 and the company is also capable of providing a total storage capacity of approximately 5,000 tonnes at any given time, inclusive of state-of-the-art equipment to meet Mapei’s handling and logistic requirements.
Mapei business development director Laith Haboubi said the partnerships were in line with Mapei’s expansion into the UAE.
Al Qama Building Materials Trading managing director Mohammed Rasheed Mohammed says: “It has always been our strategy to look for high-quality yet affordable products and Mapei perfectly fits this category.”
And logistics Company managing director Rajesh Somabhai Patel commented: “Mapei has a very wide range of products and it has also established its own manufacturing facility, which was recently commissioned in the UAE, highlighting the company's long-term commitment in this region. It makes sense for us to build a relationship with partners that share our belief in long-term growth. Moreover, we believe that Mapei and Logistics Company also advocate identical corporate values, which make our partnership all the more symbiotic.”
