Schwing pumping units at bauma in 2007.

SCHWING-Stetter, which is marking its 75th anniversary in the concrete transport technology sector, will highlight its current milestones in concrete pumping such as the new pumping height record of 715 m at bauma.

In the spotlight at the show will be its latest innovations in various fields of concrete transport technology covering concrete mixing plants, truck mixers and concrete pumps as well as placing booms. The star products in its display will be two new truck-mounted concrete pumps – one in the 20 m class, and the other in the 40 m full-size boom class, besides innovations in stationary concrete pumps. A new separate placing boom and a new mixing plant rounding off the range of products in this segment will also be presented.
“Our concrete pumps  as well as our sludge pumps are hydraulically driven, twin-cylinder pumps,” says a spokesman for the German company. “Their hydraulic drive and control systems have all been designed by Schwing engineers specifically for applications in concrete and sludge pumps. Because of this, they fulfil more than just the necessary functions of a hydraulic pumping system. The combination of the two systems achieves an extremely steady and gentle pumping pattern, even at maximum outputs.”
In addition, Schwing-Stetter, which has been focusing on consistent eco-engineering, will highlight how its products help in saving on resources and making profits.
