Arabian Jacking Enterprises for Contracting and Trading (Aject) – a fully-owned Saudi Arabian company within a Saudi international conglomerate, with its headquarters based in Dammam – is a specialist provider of a wide range of trenchless technology services.

Trading for nearly 30 years, Aject can be considered as a leader within its specialised fields. With divisional offices in Qatar and Bahrain, the company has over the years established a well-diversified client base, which has ensured its growth despite the current global economic scenario. Aject continues to be involved in a large number of infrastructure projects that are under way throughout the region.
Over the years, Aject has seen a steady increase in the deployment of trenchless technology and has extended its activities throughout the kingdom and neighbouring GCC states through its branches, serving various industries and clients, including petrochemical, telecommunication, power supply, government organisations for water and sewerage projects, district cooling suppliers and private developers.
The company owns and operates a large fleet of tunnel boring machines (TBMs) in various diameters for micro-tunnelling and large-diameter tunnelling works, which are suitable for use within all the types of terrain encountered throughout the region. It also has some of the largest horizontal directional drilling rigs in the kingdom.
Apart from various projects within Saudi Arabia, Aject is one of the leading subcontractors working on the prestigious project for replacement of the Sitra Causeway in Bahrain, providing the specialist sheet piling services for both the underpass structure and the marine works for the bridge abutments. Additionally, Aject is also providing the extensive marine tube piling works for the bridges temporary works support system and temporary access bridges.
Within Qatar, Aject is utilising eight of its fleet of modern micro-tunnelling machines, varying in diameters of 800 mm to 2,400 mm, which are contributing to many of the ongoing infrastructural development projects.
