Liechtenstein-based Hilti Corporation has introduced the Hilti UD 30 electric drill, which proves the importance of having the right speed for each job and is designed for professional users who demand efficient drilling in steel, according to the company.

“Designed for maximum speed, the tool features two gears, is low in weight and offers outstanding working comfort, making it a real pleasure to use,” says Sam Winkler, product manager for the Middle East and South Asia Region at the Hilti Regional Office in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai. The tool is equipped with a sturdy 360-degree pivoting side handle for a secure hold at all times and electronic speed control for gentle starting and smooth screwdriving.
The UD 30 runs at the high spindle speeds required, for example, for fast and efficient drilling in sheet steel. “Robust casings and rugged, overload-resistant motors make this tool extremely reliable and fit for hard, everyday use,” assures Winkler.
The UD 30 electric drill is also available with a keyless quick-release chuck with spindle lock for easy single-hand operations. Alternatively, the tool is also available with a key chuck.
