HB Fuller, one of the world's largest pureplay adhesives companies, has announced its major regional expansion with the acquisition of a 15,000 sq m facility of an adhesives manufacturer XCHEM International based at Al Hamra Industrial Zone in Ras Al Khaimah.
Welcoming the move, Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (Rakez) said with the latest set-up in the emirate, the company joins a thriving business community of over 18,000 businesses, including around 400 American companies and numerous manufacturing giants based in the economic zone.
This marks a significant milestone in its global expansion goals, said Boz Malik, Senior Vice President, Global Construction Adhesives of H.B. Fuller, at the lease signing ceremony held in the presence of Ramy Jallad, Group CEO of Rakez.
Malik said this strategic investment in the UAE aligns with the group's vision of global expansion and growth and supports its long-term plan of diversifying HB Fuller's construction adhesives business outside the US.
"The continuous governmental support, easy business practices, and high market potential for adhesives make the UAE a preferred location to capitalise on our investments and increase regional capabilities," he stated after sealiong the deal with Ramy Jallad, Group CEO of Rakez.
Jallad expressed delight at welcoming HB Fuller to the Rakez business community. "Their decision to choose the UAE as a business hub for the Mena region reinforces the international recognition of our country's dynamic and robust economic environment," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
