Sunpower Steel Fabrication Factory (SSFF) has reached its total annual export target by the second quarter.
The steel fabrication firm is reporting contracts and purchases from Dubai, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Jordan with big orders for storage, shelving and racking systems.
Chairman Hassan Haddad says he is surprised with the sales flow. “It’s a good thing that I had hired more experts anticipating the situation,” he says.
SSFF focuses on storage systems, such as pallet racks, cantilever racks, slotted angle, longspan shelving, mobile shelving, drive-in systems. It also manufactures steel furniture, fire hose cabinets, baskets, carts, workshop equipment and lockers. The company has won several large-volume projects from Consolidated Contract-ors, Al Olayan and Saudi Oger.
