CSHK Dubai Contracting has signed a Dh315 million ($85.88 million) agreement with the UAE's Armada Group for the construction of Armada Towers, located at the Jumeirah Lake Towers in Dubai.
CSHK Dubai Contracting, a group member of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (HK), will be completing the contract in about 28 months.
The Armada Group, one of the UAE's top investment organisations, has already invested more than Dh1 billion in the Armada Towers.
"In our view, CSHK Dubai Contracting is one of the main local companies capable of meeting the rigorous demands of such a massive construction endeavour as the Armada Towers," said Armada Group chairman Mohammed Raheef Hakmi. "It was awarded the prestigious contract because of its unparalleled international track record in the industry."
The three Armada Towers are expected to house 1,200 apartments with a built-up space of 60,000 sq ft, on land costing a total of Dh55 million. They will have 21,000 sq ft of external and 15,000 sq ft of internal retail space, and will also house 12 luxurious penthouses, four in each tower.
The piling works for the three towers have been completed by APCC Company.
