Enval offers a range of heating and cooling solutions.

Enval has, in a short span of time and through a mutually beneficial relationship with the Al Basti and Muktha (ABM) Group, achieved a phenomenal growth in the booming construction market of the UAE.

The UAE-based specialist in solar water heaters, heat pumps, ice plants, heat exchangers, solar lighting systems, magnetic anti- scaling systems, package chillers, ice cubing machines and mobile chillers says that it remains committed to the ABM Group and is glad to be part of group’s rapid rise in the emirate’s construction market.
Starting off with a modest beginning in 2001, Enval has managed to establish itself as one of the leading suppliers of heat pumps and solar water heaters with the support of Bilt Middle East, says Jim Sebastian, managing director of Enval.
“Even our first major project – the 22 villas at Umm Suqueim for Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum – was done in collaboration with Bilt. Each villa was installed with a 300 litre Solahart solar heater and for the common pool the company opted for its solar pool heating system,” the spokesman explains.
Enval, which now boasts a long list of satisfied clients, has done numerous projects of a commercial, residential and institutional nature and is considered a market leader in heating, chilling and solar energy solutions.
“We have also installed 248 Solahart systems at the Ruwais Housing Complex. The project, which has a payback time of five to six years, is now saving approximately Dh400,000 annually in terms of expenses. We have also installed four commercial systems for staff accommodation facilities in Bahrain, each capable of generating approximately 10,000 litres of hot water per day,” he mentions.
According to him, Solahart, a 100 per cent Australian product, is the world’s leading selling brand with a presence in over 80 countries around the world and can generate hot water even in places where temperature stays sub-zero, he claims. Solahart systems are designed and built to last 15 to 25 years and this is where this brand clearly distinguishes itself from the rest of the competition.
“For locations facing an acute power shortage, Enval has recently introduced gas-boosted Raypak (US) systems for pool water heating and for hot water supply. These systems are a boon to villa owners who do not have adequate power available to install either an electric heater or a heat pump for the pools. Hotels, which have ample and cheap gas available, have shown a lot of interest in Solahart solar hot water systems boosted with Raypak Gas systems. In addition, the connected load comes down drastically thereby reducing initial infrastructure costs,” he says.
A highly popular product in Enval’s portfolio is the Tempcon – which is now the single largest selling brand of heat pumps in the UAE, again through great support from Bilt Middle East. It is locally manufactured in the UAE with imported parts. “The key to our success is the excellent in-house back-up service team, which is essential for this kind of equipment and which very few of our competitors can boast of,” Sebastian points out.
Some of the projects done by Enval include the Meadows and Spring Parks, Dubai Marina and 11 pools at Greens apartments, all for Emaar, various schools for Abu Dhabi Public Works Directorate, 92 villas for Dubai Creek and Golf Club, Emirates Airlines staff accommodation at Garhoud for Dubai International Real Estate.
The company has also successfully undertaken the complete refurbishment of 120 tonnes of existing imported heat pumps at Hilton Beach Club in Ras Al Khaimah.
“All the heat exchangers and compressors were replaced with new ones and are now running in perfect order,” he explains
Over a short span of time, Enval has not only established itself in the UAE market but has from the very beginning looked outwards. Its policy of exploring new markets has been rewarded with the company expanding its operations Gulf-wide with a substantial market presence in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman.
“We have recently made forays into the manufacture of ice plants in the region. This is a significant milestone,” he points out.
These products, which have been approved and specified by most of the well-known consultants in the UAE, are not just environmentally friendly but have been designed and produced in a manner which helps the end-user to save costs, the spokesman concludes.
