New construction technology and best practices will be the focus of a seminar scheduled to be held in Riyadh this month.

Effective Construction Management and Quality Control will run from June 21 to 25 at the InterContinental Hotel.

The organisers - BRP Project Management and the Institute for International Research (IIR) - say the seminar will be an opportunity for industry professionals to review their practices.

"This seminar examines best practices in the construction industry and is designed to enhance technical and managerial skills in order to help you become more profitable and build a reputation of efficiently managing construction projects," says IIR's Paul Taylor, the event director.

Industry experts will explore real-world experiences and probe topics such as total quality management, leadership and supervision of teams, the implementation of productivity improvements, and resource management.

In addition, delegates will have an opportunity to meet like-minded professionals and gain a greater understanding of industry trends.

The seminar is aimed at site and project managers, construction supervisors, inspectors and administrators, resident engineers and field engineers, site agents and owner representatives.

Companies that send three delegates can send a fourth free of cost.
