WORK is progressing on the Water Garden City (WGC), which will rise up in the Seef area of Bahrain.
Developed by Albilad Real Estate, the mixed-use high-rise waterfront project will include residences, hotels, retail, food and beverages and entertainment, business and commercial developments as well as a marina. On completion, it is expected to attract a 40,000-strong community, including businesses and tourists.
Al Hasaniain is currently constructing a 3-km-long quay wall – to protect the project’s shores – with work scheduled for completion by the middle of this year. All construction works on the 60-hectare development are being supervised by Scott Wilson.
