Al Massa Cinema has opened a new complex comprising three cinema theatres in Sharjah, UAE, and plans are afoot to increase the number to eight in the next two months, said Hesham Abdul Khaleq, director of the company.
Al Massa also plans to open a complex of 10 cinemas in Ras Al Khaimah and build two new complexes in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the next two years. It also aims to establish 12 cinema houses each in Oman and Qatar by the year 2003.
A mega project is being planned by the firm in Cairo, Egypt, comprising 24 cinema theatres.
