SWITZERLAND-based Belimo, a world leader in actuator and valve technology in heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, has recently introduced a range of isolation and butterfly valves that are described as being ideal for all shut-off and control tasks in cooling circuits with small to large flow.
The valves in the A6 and D6 N range are designed for standard applications and feature a robust epoxy coating on the valve body and a stainless steel disc.
Commenting on some of the highlights of the products, David Stevenson, general manager – Middle East at Belimo Automation in Dubai, says: “These high-quality valves offer amazing value for money. They are designed to resist extreme medium temperatures, from –20 deg C to 120 deg C (or peaks of 130 deg C for up to one hour). Due to their tight-sealing closure, they make an important contribution to preventing energy losses.
“Since pressure classes PN 6/10/16 are integrated in the flange dimensions, stock-keeping is reduced. This apart, the high quality of materials used and high standards of production ensure that the butterfly valves have a long service life – they will function reliably for many years without the need for any maintenance.”
The range covers the nominal width between DN25 and DN350 with flow rates (kv values) from 45 to 10,900 cu m per hour. The valves can be supplied with a lever or a worm gear for manual operation or with a wide selection of Belimo electric actuators for motorised applications.
All Belimo products carry a five-year warranty, he adds. The Belimo Middle East office and warehouse is located in the Dubai Airport Free Zone.
