ROLLC Company for Automatic Doors and Security Systems, has launched two new products – the Rollc fire-rated shutter and Windlock shutter – which have been well-received by the market according the Saudi Arabia-based company.

“We have, in fact, received an overwhelming response from customers and dealers for the fire-rated shutter,” says Engineer Jamal M Zainab of Rollc Company.
“Rolling fire doors manufactured by Rollc have a two-hour rating and carry the label of Underwriters Laboratories (UL) for passing UL test procedure 10B (standard for safety fire tests of door assemblies). We take care that the company’s products meet UL’s high safety requirements, allowing us to protect the largest corporations from devastating fire and disaster,” he says.
The second newly-launched product, Rollc Windlock shutter, can withstand 85 mph wind loading and has specially-designed windlock guides and clips to resist high wind pressure, he points out.
“We have also been focusing on the manufacture of aircraft hangar doors for which we have already been awarded a contract by Saudi Oger. The agreement is for supply and installation of eight hangar doors at Jeddah and Riyadh airports,” says Zainab.
Rollc Company deals in a comprehensive range of industrial and commercial security systems, which include automatic barriers, road blockers, tyre killers, turnstiles, bollards, and under-car carriage scanners.
The Riyadh-based company also specialises in the manufacture, design and installation of aircraft hangar doors, blast-resistant doors, bullet-proof doors, rolling shutters, automatic doors and gates and security systems.
Since its inception in Riyadh in 2000, Rollc Company has provided services to hundreds of clients all over Saudi Arabia and internationally, Zainab says. “Also, our broad portfolio of products and systems for video surveillance, access control, and intrusion are used by major government throughout Saudi Arabia,” he adds.
The company is now looking at expanding its reach both regionally and internationally.
Towards this end, Rollc Company, which has branch offices in Jeddah and Dammam, is planning to open new showrooms and offices in other regions this year. “This will help improve sales and provide extra services to our valuable customers,” says Zainab.
The company is also keen to broaden its horizons and hence participates in international exhibitions to increase its exposure. It recently exhibited its products at the prestigious R+T Exhibition held in Stuttgart, Germany, last month (February 10 to 14), becoming the first company from the Middle East to participate in this triennial trade fair for roller shutters, doors/gates and sun protection systems, he claims.
Customer satisfaction and excellence are the primary goals of the company, according to Zainab. Hence, it has adopted a systems approach to achieving continuous growth and is now planning to attain ISO-9001 (ISO 9001:2000) certification.
“Our business strives to achieve operational excellence, focusing closely on customer needs, to maintain and expand our leadership and ensure quality and timely delivery. Rollc Company has been providing bespoke solutions since its inception in design, manufacture and installation of doors and security systems. We value our customers and handle their requirements with a high degree of professionalism,” he says.
Rollc Company is staffed by highly-qualified, skilled and professional technicians, fabricators and designers. It also works closely with an extensive network of certified dealers and interiors to design dependable security and life safety solutions for the market.
The company also has important partnerships with internationally-reputed companies, being the sole distributor in Saudi Arabia for ACM of Italy, Tormax of Switzerland, Garaga and Thermostop of Canada, and GFA Elecktromaten of Germany.
