Forbes Middle East will host the second edition of its Building the Future Summit on June 23 and 24 at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, bringing together top government officials, real estate developers, investors, architects and technology innovators to discuss the future of urban development across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and presented by One Development, the summit is expected to be one of the region’s most significant gatherings focused on smart and sustainable cities.
The two-day event will examine key trends shaping the future of infrastructure and real estate, with discussions centred on smart city innovation, sustainable urban planning, artificial intelligence-driven cities, future mobility and cybersecurity.
The summit will also explore how emerging technologies and policy frameworks are transforming the real estate sector and helping governments and private developers build more resilient and efficient urban environments.
Among the confirmed speakers are: Eng. Mohamed Al Mansoori, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure; Eng. Eisa Mubarak Al Mazrouei from the Department of Municipalities & Transport; Rashed Al Omaira, Director General, Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre, (UAE); Dr Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity for the UAE Government.
Organisers said the summit aims to foster dialogue between policymakers, industry leaders and innovators on the opportunities and challenges involved in building the cities of tomorrow.
As governments across the Gulf continue to invest heavily in digital transformation, sustainable infrastructure and next-generation real estate projects, the Building the Future Summit is expected to provide a key platform for shaping the region’s urban development agenda. - TradeArabia News Service
