
Saudi-based group Omrania has announced the appointment of Alia Centofanti as the head of interior design, strengthening the firm’s leadership team and expanding its capabilities across high-end and large-scale interior design projects in the region.
A part of the Egis Group, Omrania is an international architectural and engineering consultancy
based in metropolitan Riyadh, that is committed to creating spaces of lasting value and improving lives through design.
In her new role, Centofanti will lead the interior design department, overseeing strategy, project delivery, and team development. She will also support business growth and client engagement across the firm’s expanding portfolio in the Middle East, said a statement from Omrania.
She brings over 24 years of experience in interior architecture and design, having led landmark developments across the UK, US, Europe, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
Her portfolio includes work in the hospitality, commercial, residential, and science and technology sectors.
Centofanti's design philosophy is grounded in cultural sensitivity, narrative thinking, and a commitment to delivering functional, user-focused environments.
She emphasises collaborative working methods and fosters inclusive team cultures that support design innovation and project excellence, it added.

Centofanti holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture with College Honors and Highest Distinction from the University of Illinois in Chicago, as well as a Master of Science in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from King’s College London.
This combination of design and legal expertise allows her to approach projects with both creative vision and a deep understanding of technical and contractual, said the company in a statement.
Throughout her career, she has held senior leadership positions at several leading architecture and interior design practices.
