Ecomondo, Italy’s flagship event for green, blue and circular economy sectors, will be back for its 28th edition from November 4 to 7 with an expanded international agenda and over 800 experts expected to participate.
Organised by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), the trade fair and conference will be held at the Rimini Expo Centre and will feature more than 200 sessions spanning topics from climate mitigation and digital twins to water management and regenerative design.
Debates will also touch on crucial topics such as digitalisation, the use of cutting-edge technologies and collaboration and financing plans for the green economy. Space will also be given to eco-design, waste prevention and regenerative practices, said the event organisers.
A major green technology expo - Ecomondo - is increasingly positioning itself as a platform for cross-border collaboration in sustainability, drawing interest from public institutions, private sector players, and financial actors.
The notable sessions on the opening day include:

The event comes amid rising investment in climate technologies and sustainability-led innovation across Europe and the Mediterranean, said the organisers.
