VIP fans of the 'Black Spiders', one of Abu Dhabi's premier soccer clubs, will soon be able to watch their favourite team from a new luxury grandstand at the Al Jazeera Cultural and Sports Club in Abu Dhabi.

Home to one of Abu Dhabi's premier soccer teams, Al Jazeera -nicknamed the 'Black Spiders', the ground has a capacity of 15,000 spectators. 
Following the demolition of the ground's main grandstand, main contractor Al Hamed Development and Construction, is building a new stand for VIP spectators designed by Taillibert Gulf Environment Consultants, on behalf of the Abu Dhabi Works Department.
Featuring a basement level for technical rooms, laundry and stores, the seven-storey grandstand, is 30 m high and 130 m long.
The ground floor of the grandstand is devoted to team changing rooms, physiotherapy, gymnasium, warm-up rooms and VVIP, VIP, Press, athletes and spectators entrances - all to FIFA standards.
The grandstand also incorporates a 45-bedroomed four-star hotel-style complex on the fourth and fifth floor for visiting players.
Other floors are devoted to VVIP and VIP lounges, majlis and corporate boxes.
The new five-storey sports hall complex  also designed by Taillibert  includes a basement 44 by 24 m training pitch. Totalling 10,000 sq m with a height of 26 m from ground level, the complex includes 30 four-star bedrooms for athletes on the first floor; a 50 by 28 m competition pitch on the second floor; and VIP lounges on the third floor. The new facility will also house 2,300 spectators.
Throughout construction of the grandstand and sports hall, Al Hamed Development and Construction is relying on four Liebherr 280 HC tower cranes on rental from a local fleet supplier.
