Saudi Arabia-based International Company for Building Materials (Binex) – a sales, marketing and stocking operation of the Bina Group of companies – reports record sales for this year and recently secured significant orders from Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE.

As one of Saudi Arabia’s largest suppliers of locally and internationally manufactured products required by the construction industry, “Binex has secured sizeable sales volume figures in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE over this year. This is a remarkable achievement for the company that is yet to open up sales outlets outside the kingdom, and is a reflection of the commitment of our sales engineers and technical professionals in providing complete solutions to customers across the Middle East,” says Mohammed Ali T, general manager.
“Contributing to the record sales achieved so far this year are around 2 million sq m of gypsum board, 3 million m of galvanised steel profiles, 500,000 sq m of suspended false ceilings and about 1 million kg of joint compound supplied to a large number of construction projects. Other significant supplies include 1,000 tonnes of microsilica to the Khursaniyah Aramco project and a further 2,000 tonnes of microsilica that are expected to be delivered to the Rabigh Aramco project in Saudi Arabia,” he adds.
Binex is a part of the Bina group of companies, the building materials unit of the ABT company – one of the pioneers of cement import and distribution in Saudi Arabia-owned by the pioneering Xenel business group.
