TCM adopts new market strategy

Inoma ... fully upgraded.

Japan-based TCM, a major equipment manufacturer, last April embarked on a three-year business strategy called Global Stage 06 with the aim of expanding and strengthening the company’s presence in promising global markets.

The strategy also includes enhancing and improving its support to the company’s numerous global distributors and the expansion and reorganisation of its international business units.
“As the needs of our global customers differ from region to region, it is important to decentralise overseas manufacturing and marketing. Localisation of TCM’s international business must be more progressively promoted to conveniently locate ourselves closer to our valued customers,” says TCM’s new executive officer and general manager.
While TCM continues to innovate, its Inoma, a new type of lift truck offering incomparable ruggedness and operator-friendly features is gaining enormous accolade worldwide, he says.
TCM has fully upgraded and redesigned the Inoma for easier access, greater comfort, improved manoeuvrability, assured safety and longer durability. The Inoma forklift truck achieves optimum performance for its class while providing outstanding comfort and safety, he says.
“Through a five per cent improved front and rear stability ratio, the Inoma offers enhanced stability and more consistent cargo handling as well as travel. Mast distortion has been minimised through the redesigned positioning of the mast supports and tilt cylinders and through adopting sturdier tie bars in it while maintaining a wide range of viewing angles,” says the spokesman.
Continuing on the breakthrough features of the Inoma, Abdullah S Al Ali, general manager of Aljomaih Equipment Company, the distributor of TCM in Saudi Arabia, says: “The temperature of the coolant is reduced by about 10 deg C due to the new layout of the fan, radiator and muffler. Upgraded hydraulic equipment and circuitry with less pressure loss has improved the oil operating temperature by no less than 10 per cent. Oil-filled lift cylinders give improved durability.
All TCM products are available through the Aljomaih Equipment Company.
Aljomaih also represents Iveco, Merlo, Nardi, and Case New Holland of Italy; Claas and MTU of Germany; Tacom of Japan; Nokka-Tume of Finland; Perkins of the UK; Arcusin of Spain, and US- based Valmont Industries, a manufacturer of the Valley irrigation systems.
The firm sells a wide range of generator sets and engines, wheel loaders, dozers and graders, concrete mixers, vibratory compactors and asphalt rollers, forklifts and telescopic handlers, marine container straddle carrier and telescopic spreaders and a wide range of agricultural equipment.
