Saudi contract for L&T

Saudi Formaldehyde Chemical Company (SFCCL) has awarded India’s largest engineering and construction company, Larsen & Toubro, along with its consortium partner, Denmark's Haldor Topsoe a SR412 million ($109.8 million) contract for setting up high-tech methanol and carbon monoxide plants in Saudi Arabia.

L&T would carry out engineering works and procure equipment and materials for the plant under the contract on an E&P (Engineering and Procurement) basis.
